Blaine M. Brown successfully obtained a settlement for his client which provided his client approximately 80% more of the trust estate (increase of over 50% of what he was to receive previously). Prior to his client’s mother’s passing, she restated her trust to provide most of her estate (approximately $1,500,000) solely to his client and reduce the other siblings to less than $5,000 each.

The other siblings were attempting to completely disinherit Mr. Brown’s client based on allegations of financial elder abuse. Following lengthy discovery, Mr. Brown was able to obtain a settlement for nearly $1,000,000 for his client and was also able to ensure that his client was protected from anticipated defamation by the other party.
